About who needs care: My MIL needs someone to be with her during her colonoscopy prep on June 6th (when she starts at noon) until we come and pick her up for the procedure on June 7th in the morning ). She runs low on sodium and takes sodium pills and did not do well with her colonoscopy prep two weeks ago BUT they did not check her sodium before the prep. (So she was hospitalized for three days. They are going to check her sodium in the 5th. If it is already low, they will not do the procedure on the 7th. She needs someone to help her get the right amounts of miralax and check her vitals regularly and help if she has an accident. We will pay out of pocket. She lives in apartments. Is there someone who could come at noon and stay until we pick her up sometime the next morning? About the care needs: Warm, friendly, and patient. My MIL has had 6 strokes so her speech is slow. She DOES NOT cope well when she feels the least little bit of discomfort. And colonoscopy prep is very uncomfortable. She loves music but can not play the piano anymore. She loves watching movies.
