About who needs care: Our father is a 102-year-old man who is bedridden and in need of full care following a recent illness and hospitalization. The position requires that caregivers are experienced and skilled in helping the patient work through his frustration as he adjusts to his current limitations. The ideal caregiver must be dependable, honest, and trustworthy, as well as compassionate, patient, and respectful with regard to the various facets and stages of elder decline.
