Help needed for my Dad, who is 81. My Mom and brother live with him, and we're looking for some respite care to give them a break and time to take of their own errands and medical appointments. My Dad has dementia and Parkinson's, and can be challenging to manage. We need someone with experience managing and administering medication, although often he will try to refuse it. We also need someone that will help with showering him at least once a week. Some light tidying up would be helpful, but not required. They have a dog, so a caregiver would need to be comfortable with pets. My Dad currently has OT and PT folks coming out to the house, so the dog is accustomed to visitors. Our schedule and hours are flexible... one to two days per week.
