About who needs care: 46 years old, Acute right hemispheric stroke survivor. Needs help with toileting and meals. Left side weakness. Speech impaired. Gate belt and transfers to wheechair, bed, commode. Cant walk alone at all. Very impulsive. Needs supervision s and constant reminding. Safety first at all times. Very easy to get along with. We have big dogs. 2 of them. Shots are up to date. Must be strong and dog friendly. Rob is a funny guy. Very sarcastic. And loves people. About the care needs: R is 46. He is a smart and funny person. Anyone with a sense of humor and some snarky sarcasm would be a good fit. He cannot walk. Transfers are done with a gate belt. He toilets in a commode. He has Outpatient PT and OT which we will work on at home as fit He is a mechanic by trade, but likes to talk about anything. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
