About who needs care: Elderly mother has limited mobility - needs assistance to leave the house and does not drive. Has some medical issues but caregiver does not need to do anything with medication. She has a small (12-pound dog which is currently cared for by relatives and not at the house now - that could change). Hobbies include sewing and knitting but not so much recently The daily routine is breakfast, lunch and dinner with some TV in between. About the care needs: Ideal caregiver would be open to a variety of light tasks. Some tasks include vacuuming, dishes, cooking a meal, laundry, running errands for groceries. Also just spending time and talking about anything is extremely important since social interlays limited with limited mobility. And visiting times are rather flexible - really just need a caregiver to come by 2 to 3 times per week. Visits could be morning, afternoon or evening any day of the week (ideally spread out). Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
