Our loved one is in his 90s and has been an active, kind and witty man throughout his life. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer's dementia and until last Fall 2023 his symptoms were relatively mild & he still went to dinners, engaged with friends and travelled. Following a fall resulting in fracture and prolonged hospitalization, he experienced deconditioning/delirium. We require an energetic and motivated caregiver to help with dressing/showering but also to take him out in Chicago and help to regain his active and spirited lifestyle. We are looking for a caring and compassionate experienced person who will help create an invigorating daily routine. We might ask you to run errands now and then/help w/ light housekeeping & meals. Preferences for a caregiver who is comfortable with dogs. We are located in downtown Chicago.
