I am searching for a deeply compassionate person with Alzheimer's / Dementia experience for my mother who lives at home with 94 y old husband. Help needed with bathing/dressing and have experience assisting with feeding on days she won't feed herself. Someone to handle meal preparation. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. Mom loves devoting time to her golden doodle Sandy. Needs help with transfers and walking around house with a walker. Needs encouragement with feeding, activity and being engaged with others. Would like someone who is creative in keeping her engaged in light activity during day. The shifts are every other weekend, with possible days to cover during the week when the primary caregiver is not available.
