I'm looking for hands-on care for my father in his 80s. Some light tidying up and personal care supply updates are involved. ALS will bathe but needs help afterwards. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. Part of your responsibilities will include running errands. Duties include transportation. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first aid trained. My dad's current caretaker is going to be out of town from May 28th to July 3rd. He stays in ALS and has vascular dementia, Lymphedema. Help is needed Monday through Friday. He will need exercise daily. Responsible for taking him or meeting him at doctor's visits if ALS provides trans. This is a short-term position and possible future fill ins. There may also be additional hours on as needed basis.
