About who needs care: Father is 87. Lives with wife. He sleeps all the time or sits in chair looking at his iPad. We need someone to come in who can deal with him when he is awake saying " I don't need a baby sitter... leave me alone etc." Someone to get him in the shower. Help with cleaning and laundry, change the bed sheets. He won't eat anything just protein drinks but try to get him to eat. Possibly help with basic grooming. He walks but very under steady and feeble. About the care needs: Someone who can be patient and strong with a grouchy dementia patient. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
