I need hands-on care provider experience for myself. I am a 64-year-old quadriplegic who lives alone but is very independent. I need assistance in the mornings getting out of bed and taking a shower. There is no lifting involved. I use a ceiling track lift which I operate myself to transfer to my wheelchair and shower chair. For this I just need help positioning and moving my legs. I also need Assistance with bowel care management. This is done with simple suppository insertion. In between there is light lunch meal preparation, kitchen living area tidying and weekly laundry loads. The routine takes two to two and one half hours. I live in a house in a nice neighborhood. The workplace is clean, safe and hospitable. I am looking for help to fill in any days of the week. Preference is for a caregiver who is a non-smoker.
