I need a post-op care provider with experience for a woman in her 50s having bariatric surgery on May 20th and to be discharged on May 21st. Our care concerns are: Medication Prompting, Mobility Assistance, Wound Care, Help Staying Physically Active (per discharge orders), Bathing / Dressing, Feeding, Meal Preparation, Companionship, some light tidying may be involved. One of your responsibilities will be helping with bathing the first few days (according to discharge orders). Personal care required, including help feeding while pt is still in pain when moving. We're looking for some help preparing meals or at least ordering take out if not possible. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. We might ask you to run errands now and then. You may need to transport to/from appointment, if required by hospital, but not likely.
