Hi! My name is Benjamin. I am a 27-year-old activist and advocate with Cerebral Palsy. I love politics, movies, and Star Wars trivia. I am looking for someone who can provide respite care on weeknights/weekends, or coverage care when my typical caregiver cancels. It is a very flexible job with a flexible schedule - you would have a lot of time to do homework or other needed tasks while you are with me as I do my own work! You would be helping me with bathing, dressing, eating, simple meal preparation, toileting, and getting into and out of bed and my wheelchair. I have a ceiling lift in my home so you do not need to be able to lift me. I would love someone to help me get out into the community, whether that is going to the movies or political events! Preference for someone ok with pets, non-smoking, and COVID vaccinated.
