I'm looking for companion care for my father in his 80s. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. Part of your responsibilities will include running errands and shopping, helping him to coordinate and manage house things. Excellent, clear english speaker a must as my dad is hard of hearing. He is kind, thoughtful and well educated, mentally there and physically slowing down a lot. He is also quiet and spiritual and likes to have his space, so if you are around and have other work to do, that works well. Our best guess would be 2-3 days a week for 3 hours each. There may be times he will be sleeping. Encouraging him to walk as well.
