About who needs care: High functioning Autistic adult. About the care needs: The caregiver should be patient and willing to help and explain things. We are a faith and fur-filled home with a resident 60 lb Husky. We discourage the use of inappropriate language and the raising of voices during autistic outbursts. We require assistance with cleaning. My sister and our dog enjoy neighborhood walks, and need someone to accompany them. Needs support with transportation to Wal-Mart and haircuts at Great Clips (5 miles from home). Requires help creating shopping lists and needs reminders to perform basic hygiene tasks, such as brushing teeth or washing hair. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
