About who needs care: Mother-in-law currently lives in independent living facility. She has a heart valve & takes Warfarin and has severe osteoporosis. Walks with a walker or we use a wheelchair to take her out. She has someone take her down for dinner sometimes but is not involved in other activities unless we take her. She needs company and to get out of her room more. She just fell over the weekend (during the night getting up to go to the bathroom) and she won't wear her medical alert button. About the care needs: She likes to sit out on her balcony (she's on the 3rd floor) when it's nice. She doesn't have any hobbies. She needs to be monitored when showering or helped and given her meds. She naps a lot during the day. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
