About who needs care: My mother has mobility issues and currently cannot stand on her own or walk. She is able to use the restroom in a commode chair, and she is able to eat normally. She is very smart, sharp, and funny! What we need most help with is getting to and from the restroom and with helping her with daily tasks. Cooking and all other errands will not be needed unless you like to! We'd love someone who may want to live in the home, but that is not required. My mom loves the news, reading, and talking. She is very active in her church and on the phone with friends. About the care needs: I would love to have someone who is kind, patient, and understanding. It would be helpful to have someone trained with a commode chair, is comfortable lifting someone, and with someone less experienced with medical care. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
