We need hands on care for a gentleman in his fifties that has ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Days and hours needed: Monday through Friday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. He is in a wheelchair and is paralyzed from the neck down. Duties include: assistance with picking up dinner/groceries, assistance eating, assistance with basic grooming (no showers), toileting & urinary support. In addition he alternates between using oxygen via a nasal cannula & concentrator & also a bi-pap machine. Both are easy to use and you would get trained. Knowledge of Hoyer lists is helpful, but not a must. If you are willing to learn we will train you!
