Are you interested in an exciting opportunity to work closely with a self-determined adult woman with special needs? If so, Kate and her team would like to learn more about you! The ideal direct support person would have experience implementing person-centered thinking strategies, be familiar with communication devices, and be comfortable providing full physical support. You would be expected to do physical lifting, provide transportation for Kate in your vehicle (mileage will be reimbursed), and assist Kate with all activities of daily life, including personal care. Kate enjoys a productive schedule filled with social gatherings, volunteering, attending community college classes, completing errands, and running her own business. You would be looked at her "right-hand person" during all direct support times.
