About who needs care: She just had her left hip replaced in January and is now having issues with her right hip, causing her VERY limited mobility and requiring care until we can get the other hip replaced. She also has a left knee replacement that didn't go well (from over 10 years ago) that causes her mobility issues as well. She LOVES her dog, Rosie. She would love to get involved locally with a board or a community center, but hasn't had the chance since she moved down here from Portland, OR two years ago. She loves to chat about current events and is usually huge into great food. An ideal day for her would be to wake up, go on a walk with her dog (via her scooter), drink coffee and have breakfast, get in the pool to do her physical therapy, go do something fun/grab lunch, take a nap, and then have a great dinner. About the care needs: A sassy personality would be a great fit. Someone who can organize and get things done (coming from the mouth of a slightly unorganized/all over the place brain). They would need to be able to cook great food, help move her (over 200 lbs) if needed, and LOVE to chat WHILE they get things done. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
