We need companion care to take care of my nearly 90-year-old mother in Oceanside. Assistance with medication is sometimes needed. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation. Part of your responsibilities will include running errands and assisting with grocery shopping. We ask that you handle transportation as needed. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker. She is still pretty independent overall - but is at the point where she needs help getting things up and down her stairs. She does use a walker when out of the house and to get to the pool when she swims in the morning. While not diagnosed with Alzheimer's or Dementia - she has started to have days where she sundowns in the late afternoon/early evening, so having this knowledge and the associated skills is a plus.
