I'm looking for companion care for my wife in her 70s. Some light housekeeping is involved. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. We are a vegetarian household (no meat, fish, fowl or eggs). Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. We'll need you to handle groceries or errands when appropriate. Applicant needs to be physically active and be able to go for a walk each day with my wife (weather permitting). She is physically in very good condition and it is important that she walk regularly. She also likes going for rides to the local parks, to the bookstore and other small outings. We ask that you handle transportation as needed. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. Must have experience with aphasia and other forms of dementia. Must be willing to engage with her.
