Seeking part-time hands-on care. Recently diagnosed with dementia, she has moved into our home. We're still finding a schedule that works best for her, she attends daycare center for memory support, and we need someone to help from around 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on some days after she returns, helping her wind down and get to bed. We prefer someone flexible with their schedule as some weeks may require more or fewer days of care until we establish a consistent routine for her. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. Some light tidying up is involved. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements. Personal care required, including feeding. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. Duties may include transportation (from daycare). Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained.
