About who needs care: My mom has kidney failure and needs someone to drive her to dialysis three times a week in the afternoon on Monday, Wednesday, Fridays. This is starting as a part-time position but if things go well, we may need help more full time. About the care needs: Knowledge of kidney disease and diabetes, ideally experience caring for the elderly. Must have a car and physical strength to help my mom. Any medical and nutritional knowledge (and ability to cook) is even better! Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
