I'm looking for hands-on care for my sharp-witted mother in her 80s, who is recovering from an esophagectomy. She will be living with my brother and would love the help of someone skilled, competent and spirited. We need someone who is comfortable overseeing and administering medication. Some light tidying up is involved, including laundry and making the bed. Some help needed with bathing and dressing would be wonderful. Once she is swallowing again, we would like someone to handle meal preparation. We're also looking for someone to provide companionship and keep her spirits up while she recovers from this massive surgery. Hours should be flexible and subject to change.
