About who needs care: Very intelligent, still working, but with a broken back and other ailments that make it hard for him to get around with ease. Needs help getting in and out of bed sometimes and sometimes with ADLs (not always). Prefers to spend time on his computer. Not interested in small talk. About the care needs: Someone who likes cats (we have one), is on the quiet side. We both work at home and are in fields that require quiet. Someone interested in philosophy or psychology/psychoanalysis would be a plus (he has written many books in the field) Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
