About who needs care: My dad has PSP, a type of Parkinson's disease that has affected his speech and his mobility. He is walking and bathing/toileting himself but is unstable and tends to fall a lot. About the care needs: He is quite frail but it will be good if the care giver can be strong enough to pick him up if he falls or if he needs to be lifted from sitting to standing position etc. He will need help bathing and dressing also so the carer should be comfortable with that. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
