I need a hands-on care provider for my mother who is 87. She has had 2 strokes and has had Parkinson's for several years. She is full care and cannot walk or transfer on her own. Experience with lifting and transferring is a must. Assisting with bathing, self-care, feeding, and helping her with PT exercises. Due to the Parkinson's, she has a problem swallowing and she requires a special diet and must be fed. Seeking someone to handle meal preparation and light housekeeping. She loves listening to audio books and being read to. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained.
