Our usual caretaker is on medical leave so looking for someone to fill in, perhaps 20-30 hrs a week immediately. Mom has severe Dementia and is perpetually confused with no sense of what she should be doing. She retains her mostly happy disposition but needs constant supervision. She does not need much help with the toilet or hygiene but needs her meals prepped & help getting dressed. Mostly, it's just companionship as she is terrified of being alone for more than a minute. Puzzles, watching her crime TV show & the Dodgers, short walks, playing with her dog, looking at photos, etc are some of the increasingly limited things she likes to do. Hours are anywhere between 11 a.m. and 11pm, any day of the week, and can be discussed as they are flexible.
