About who needs care: My Dad is dealing with some chronic health conditions and has home health services through the VA. He lives in Anchorage and I am his daughter, I live in Maine, and coordinate his appointments and do all the computer stuff. Mostly he needs someone to run errands (pick up laundry, prescriptions and groceries) for him and give him rides to appointments. We would love to have someone on a regular basis. About the care needs: He is a retired pilot and mechanic and he is pretty outgoing, so he would enjoy someone who is willing to chat. It would also help if the person speaks loudly and clearly as he is hard of hearing. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
