Hello, I am actually reaching out on behalf of my 83-year-old father who lives in Fallon. Dad is able to dress and bathe himself, he still drives (in Fallon area only). The main concern is prompting of self-care. He is in the beginning stage of Dementia. He had a stroke a year and a half ago and this has slowed him down. He still goes to the gym and lunch at senior center. However he would benefit from help with reminders to eat, shower, take meds, etc. Ideal would be for an individual to stop by 3 to 5 weekday mornings around 7:30. Make sure he has eaten something light. Maybe prepare oatmeal, eggs, toast. Inquire / remind to shower 3 times a week. Remind Teeth brushed, hearing aids in, wearing clean clothes. Make sure day is off to good start.
