What You'll Do: You'll be responsible for providing care to some of the most fragile and vulnerable members of our society. Duties may include: providing emotional support to patients, helping patients schedule and keep doctor's appointments, transporting patients to appointments and other events, transporting patients around their homes (and potentially to/from a wheelchair, walker, etc.), assisting with dressing and bathing, cooking and other light housekeeping tasks. Who You Are: You have at least 1 year of prior experience as a caregiver. You enjoy helping those in need, are in good physical health, and have access to reliable transportation. They are looking for someone with a bright smile and experience with supporting others in their home. Our job openings are first and foremost about creating a personal connection with your client, not just providing care. Many of our positions will involve experience in supporting clients with early to moderate-stage dementia. We have immediate openings for full-time and part-time jobs in Manhattan and Brooklyn. We are offering a $100 sign-on bonus upon completion of your first shift. And because we know that great caregivers know other great caregivers, we are offering a $150 referral bonus for any friend or colleague that you refer to us and is hired.
