Hello. My family is looking for a caregiver for our mother Linda who is 58 years old. She's a very kind woman and likes to talk and make friends. Linda has MS so she needs extra help around the house doing basic things. We currently have a button system in our household where she presses it if she needs anything such as water, help getting out of bed, is hungry, etc. Linda is able, efficient and mobile for now, she is currently in a wheel chair but knows how to navigate the apartment. She will ask for help when she needs it. We don't need someone who knows about MS or has had experience with MS patients before we just need someone who is kind, patient and has care giving experience. Linda may sometimes need help leaving the house, bathing, someone may need to grab groceries from the store for her, tasks like this. We also would like her to be taken outdoors sometimes, the library, the park, etc. We are willing to work with two interchangeable people with two shift sets a morning (7am-12pm) and afternoon (12pm-5pm). Linda cannot ever be left alone so once you clock in you are in for the shift. We will make food accessible for you for your lunch. Please contact us if you are available for one shift or both. Overall just looking for someone to help our family keep our mom company while we're at work.
