At World of Children, each child receives an education that is individually created specifically for him/her. Our programs are constantly reflected on and updated by our Directors and Teachers to offer maximum support and care for each child.
Our schools use specially developed Montessori Resources which are easy to use and are suited specifically for your child's age. Our materials actually encourage self-control while inviting children to reflect on how to improve. Your child's teachers are guides and facilitators who do not need to play the traditional teacher-role of judge, jury, and dispenser of all information, instead, children identify their skills and where and how they can grow. This strategy helps to preserve their sense of self-esteem and belief in the fact that learning is sometimes messy ...and that is a good thing.

We offer many different flexible options in terms of our hours of availability. Generally, we are open from 8:30-6:00 Monday through Friday.

We have activated a host of safety precautions and protocols to ensure that your child's tie with us will be one where health and safety are paramount!

World of Children -Montessori is a great daycare center! Our son adores his incredible teachers (Ms. Inna who speaks fluently Russian, Hebrew, and English, and Ms. Stephanie). We are very grateful to them for his social, academic, and physical development. He knows the alphabet, writes his name, counts to 20, knows all seasons/months/days of the week, and he is not even 4 years old. There is a private gated playground where kids safely play during breaks. As working parents we appreciate convenient location (Manhattan, Kips Bay) and flexible hours (8:30-30pm or 8:30-6pm). We feel absolutely safe to leave our child at the daycare under the professional supervision of caring and loving teachers. Highly recommend !

Welcome to Little Ivies Prep! Here at Little Ivies, we are committed to making each day a learning day, filled with a variety of centers and activities that help our early learners discover what interests and inspires them while also ensuring they have the necessary readiness for school and academics. We pride ourselves on providing a stellar preschool education, a unique ratio of teachers to children, with upscale amenities and service, in a warm, nurturing environment. It is our belief that all children are enthusiastic learners, actively seeking information. It is our job as their first school teachers to ensure they build a strong foundation that facilitates a lifetime of learning by encouraging their exploration and inquisitive nature in addition to exposing them to structured lesson plans in a fun and imaginative way.

NYC is a highly competitive environment, we strive to provide our children with the tools necessary to take on the rigors of most kindergarten and first grade programs in the area and it is our goal to exceed the expectations of each family that entrusts us with the care and early education of their child. Our program is designed to encourage parent involvement and we believe that families are particularly important during the preschool years having long-lasting positive effects on children's academic performance, emotional development and overall well-being.
