About the business
Hi. My name is Marion. I am the owner and primary provider for More Hugs & Learn. I worked in the charter and public school system for 10 years. Through my experience being a Teacher Assistant and group leader, I realized that quality education and parent partnership starts at the beginning of a child's life. When you introduce education, reading, and play you nurture a lifelong love for learning in a child. This is one reason why I started a family daycare. More Hugs & Learn is a family business. We offer quality childcare in a nurturing environment. We welcome children, 6 weeks to 5 years old, as our target age is infant and toddler to prepare children for school. We also offer nutritious meals and snacks as nutrition is also a major part of our program. Here at More Hugs & Learn, we know that every child is unique, and with our experienced and qualified staff we can assure you that we have the resources to meet your child's needs. We also believe in staff/family partnerships. Everything we do, from our goals, to weekly lesson plans, and goals for the individual child the parents will be involved and aware of the progress of their child.

This daycare is by far the worse day cares of all facility's running in general . The owner is never there and she's entirely disgusting. She'll leave your female daughters with a man name ANT Who was a previous "assistant in child care" at her facility, Later to find out that he wasn't even licensed when my child was In her - WELL HIS CARE !! Now parents I know you guys are thinking exactly like me. Well this is a daycare and these babies have to be fed and changed daily. Now I had a daughter and she (MARION) was leaving this man to change my daughter !! ( the male assistant who wasn't even licensed) Because as I mentioned before she was always outside of the facility. He is a man!! This is what you suppose to have female staff for if not, then your self.... but it seems that this lady spent more time outside the daycare then inside. every time I went to pick up my daughter she (Marion the "owner")was never there!! It was always him! Which indeed made me nervous because I don't need no MAN Changing my daughter who isn't her father period. On top of that I use to send my kid with 6 pampers everyday and when I checked my kids diaper bag going back home she had 5 diapers still remaining in there .. now y'all know where I'm going with this one right ? This basically lead me to believe that wow you have my kid in your care for at least 7 hours and out of 7 hours she was only being changed ONE TIME. Then every time I picked my kid up she always acted like she was starving.. As If they never feed them. She (Marion) also use to ask the parents to provide stuff like snacks when WHY? isn't that your job? Why we have to come out of pocket for something that you falsely advertise that u "provide snack" on your flyers. I highly recommend this daycare facility to nobody. Shes also ridiculous with her prices and they're not even a quality care facility. she also charges 1$ late fee for every minute that you are late and after 10 minutes she charges 75$ She tried it.
