Looking for a Home Health Aide with experience dealing with patients with dementia/Alzheimer's. The patient is in her 60s and is still mostly independent, they live in a co-op with an electronic entry. Accessible through . Aides responsibilities include heating or plating food, laundry (just for client, located in building 1x per week), assist with bathing 2-3 times per week or as needed, provide companionship which may include going for very short walks around the building, very light home cleaning (cleaning patient dishes, changing bed sheets), accessibility to a car is preferable to bring patient to scheduled doctors visits. Most days will be very relaxed with emphasis placed on patient eating on time daily. Thank you, can't wait to meet you!

Turning on tv at clients request, active conversations with client. Assist client with bathing (may just mean stay close to the client to prevent any falling or accidents) reminding client of their daily medication.
Care giver should be compassionate, caring and patient. Should have experience dressing patients and dealing with Alzheimer's and dementia. Home Health aide license preferred but not mandatory, same as CPRand BLS license.
