The Nest

The Nest Home Day Care is a safe, nurturing, and encouraging atmosphere for children 6 weeks through 5 years old. My goal is to provide a stimulating and fun environment for children while encouraging social, emotional, intellectual, and physicaldevelopment. Your child will receive quality personal and individualized care in a warm and loving environment. At The Nest, I believe that children learn best through play and exploration. Whether it is investigating the dirt box outside, playing fun games indoors, or spending time exploring books all on their own, I will help to facilitate activities that children enjoy. Special seasonal activities will also be a regular part of time spent at The Nest, including summer days playing in the sprinkler or plenty of fun in the snow in the winter! I believe in positive reinforcement and redirection when children are testing the limits and learning the rules. I will provide a structured environment that is flexible enough to respect the child and their individuality while at the same time providing routine that children need to learn and flourish.
