About
Super Star Day School is an in-home preschool for 3-5 year olds. We follow "The Creative Curriculum for Preschool" by: Diane Trister Dodge, Laura J. Colker, and Cate Heroman.
Your child will learn: literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, the arts, technology, and processing skills. The different ways in which your child will learn include: blocks, dramatic play, toys, games, art, library, discovery, sand and water, music, movement, cooking, computers, and the outdoors.
All the students will have a sense of belongingness, safety, and esteem. Our school will incorporate learning techniques by accommodating all auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learners.
Our learning environment will include: large-group instruction, small-group time, choice time, mealtimes, transitions, rest time, and outdoor play.
All children will have diagnostic testing performed by the lead teacher Ms. Cortney. This will allow her to establish a base line for each and every child. There will also be three conferences a year to follow the progress of each student.
