Sarah Bucio is a highly qualified early childhood educator. She completed her training at Columbia College Chicago where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in early childhood education. Her college education focused strongly on the Reggio Emiliaapproach. During this time, Sarah participated in a study tour in Reggio Emilia, Italy where she visited preschools, infant/toddler centers, participated in lectures at the Loris Malaguzzi Center, and guided tours of Reggio Emilia. Her experience in this field includes 3 years as a classroom teacher, followed by 2 years of owning & operating a successful family child care center. Sarah and her family relocated from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin to Chase, Wisconsin (near Green Bay) with her husband and two young children. Sarah believes in PLAY & child led discoveries & exploration. This is a country setting! We are home to 6 ACRES of space for the children to explore. While in Sarah's care, children are always able to be themselves & explore the world around them in ways that work best for them. Sarah strongly believes there is no need to rush our children into the academic world that will be waiting for them when they are school age.
