About Jeana

I graduated in 1991 with my bachelors of science in nursing. I worked in adult cardiac care for 11 years, part of that time as charge nurse. In 2002 I became a mother and stayed at home for about 15 years. Eight years ago I started working at an allergy, asthma clinic and two years ago I added teaching to my résumé. I work at Herzing University teaching first year nursing students in their simulation program. The reason I am interested in senior care is because many years ago I developed a friendship with an elderly woman at my church. We became fast friends. She became my best friend, and when her husband died, I devoted myself to helping her. One day a week We would run errands together, have lunch, I would do light housework and when she had medical needs, I would help her (skin tears, B12 injections). It'd be my pleasure to work with seniors care again.
