Looking for part time caregiver/companion for my 84-year-old Dad who has Alzheimer's/Dementia. Dad lives with me and needs supervision when I leave the house. Looking for 2 days a week to start but could turn into more hours if interested. My ideal candidate is a mature female with a flexible schedule that could be open to additional days including an occasional Saturday with advance notice. Experience with Dementia is required along with a lot of patience! There are 2 friendly cats that live in the home. Looking for Companionship, assistance with food/drinks, encouraging mobility and independence, medicine as needed and support if he happens to have an accident. Dad is friendly and sociable and enjoys conversation. Dad loves to watch tv or sitting outside listening to music. Open to any suggestions of activities you think he may enjoy.
