Hello, my name is Kiran. I am 26 years old. I nannied twin boys. They are 4 years old and have been with them since they were 4 months old. Also, I am a lifeguard for the city of Carlsbad pools, making me CPR/first aid/AED and lifeguard certified. Also, I teach all levels of swim lessons and water safety. In addition, I have been babysitting for about 10 years. My experience includes infants through 12-year-old with a specialty in special needs kids. I have helped my mom in her various classrooms including special needs preschool and general ed K-5. Also, I volunteer at my church with the 10-15-month-old babies.

In the last 12 years I have worked with adolescents in treatment foster care, provided one-on-one direct therapy with children diagnosed with Austism, ODD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delays, Sensory Processing Disorder, etc. in the home and center based setting. I am also an Certifed Occupational Therapy Assistant and have experience with both the pediatric, adults and geriatric population. I have experience working with all populations on self help skills including TBI, stroke, dementia. I have worked in a supervisory position the last 3 years overseeing 45 staff members and over 50 pediatric clients with different diagnoses. Relocating to Knoxville.

I just graduated with my elementary education degree, so I'm great with tutoring and helping with homework in grades K-5, as well as math and English in higher grades. I am currently tutoring a freshman in algebra 1 and a junior in algebra 2. I've been a babysitter for most of my life, starting when I was 12 with my neighbor's son and my little cousins. I have 11 years of experience with autism with my former neighbor's son, and a solid year with my great uncle's 48-year-old son who has down syndrome, so I am good with children and adults who have special needs. I have a reliable car, so I am able to drive to and from work, and I am able to transport up to two car seats/boosters and three kids if none are in a booster seat. I worked at a daycare running a summer camp for school age kids and working in multiple age rooms from infant to 4 years old, so I have experience with all ages and all sorts of fun ideas for crafts and projects.
