My wife is 54y/o and suffered a massive stroke 2 years ago which left her left side neglect. She is a wonderful woman but has some brain damage and short term memory loss. She is mostly in a wheelchair and our house is set up well for her. We have a live in caregiver now, but my wife no longer needs full time care so she will be moving on at the end of April 2019. My wife can got to the bathroom herself and I will take care of bathing. Flexibility in your schedule is appreciated.
We are looking for help in the am & pm for 2 weeks out of every month, with additional help as needed.
8:30am-11:30 a.m. for breakfast, meds, stretching, dressing, and tidying up.
4:00pm-8:pm for dinner and meds, dressing for bed, tidying up.
She will need to be driven to PT &OT 2 times/ week. We have a vehicle for that.
