Experienced Nanny Seeking Part To Full-Time Position!

Avg response < 5 hrs
They say to choose a career doing something you genuinely love to do so that you never have to work a day in your life, so I have chosen a life-long commitment working in the childcare field. I come from a big family with tons of little cousins, so naturally love being a teacher and mentor. I'm a big kid at heart and don't think I could've chosen a better career. There is nothing more rewarding than to have the privilege of watching these amazing little kids grow into their own person with their own unique interests, quirks, and senses of humor. I am dedicated to providing quality care by nurturing each individual child's academic, physical, emotional, and social development. I feel that my job as a childcare provider is to partner with the parents and be an extension of them while they're gone, reinforcing respectful behavior and guiding with clear boundaries and positive age-appropriate discipline. My hope is to make a positive impact on children's lives and am currently working towards a degree in early childhood education with plans to open a preschool in the near future. About my work history: I have held positions including infant and toddler teacher, preschool teacher, in-home Nanny/house-manager, and Site Leader for the YMCA's K-5 Before & After School program working in every elementary school in the Gig Harbor school district. I am qualified to work in various childcare settings with certifications such as STARS, infant & adult CPR & First Aid, HIV/AIDS, Blood-borne Pathogens, food handlers permit, valid WA driver's license with a clean driving record and 10 years of transporting children as young as 1 year to various activities, and a cleared background check through the Department of Early Learning. As for my personality, I am genuinely a people person, very fun-loving and down to earth, engaging, considerate, and connect with others through humor. I am passionate about life and helping others and strive every day to be a better person in both my personal and professional life. I have a strong work ethic, morals, and greatly value respect, honesty, and open communication with the families I partner with. I am professional and organized, dependable, ethical, punctual, and flexible. I am hoping to find a part-time position working in the Gig Harbor or Port Orchard area (not wanting to cross the bridge in Tacoma) with a family who is compatible with my values and who can offer approx. 25-35 hours per week. My rates range between $12-$16 per hour which I determine by considering how many hours and days per week, how many children and their ages, as well as job responsibilities. I am hoping to be with a family for the next 1-3 years until I finish up school, and appreciate collaborating to put together a work agreement that outlines expectations and responsibilities that will work both for the family as well as myself. I have been told that I'm fun and easy to work with and a "breath of fresh air". I am very considerate and thorough in communication and always try and be as accommodating and flexible as possible to make your life easier in any way I can, and hope to find a family who understands the value of a Nanny who puts her whole heart into what she does. Please feel free to contact me with any questions and tell me a little about your family and childcare needs. Thank you for your consideration!
