We are looking for more professional and willing assistance for my Grana as her body and mind decline. She is very close to being bed-bound, has faster than the average progressing Alzheimer's, is Pentacostal, on Hospice through SAAD, and current caregivers just want to give her the best that they can.
She will be living more or less alone, in between times of shifts and family shifts. Safety is priority, comfort and medical attention are just as important.
AM Medicine and Breakfast, Lunch and Midday Medicine, PM Medicine. Shifts are preferred, and it is ideal to sit with her while she eats.
She likes sleeping in and staying up late.
Watching TV: Brady Bunch, 7th Heaven; Andy Griffin; DVD Player has The Waltons, Little House on Prairie, and The Beverly Hillbillies.
She enjoys reading her Bible, working through Word Searches, and previously playing the Electronic Sorry Card Game. We are trying to introduce coloring too.
Patience and understanding of the differences a patient with Alzheimer's can have. Our preference is someone who can handle changing her clothes, her pull-ups, checking her sanitation and bathroom habits, and keeping her safe and as happy as she can be in those moments.
Attached (open) car port, driveway and grass parking too.
