Infant Or Toddler Nanny

Avg response < 17 hrs
Hi! :) I love children, and enjoy seeing their perspectives on life. I believe we can learn much from them, and benefit from their joy, hope, and lightheartedness! I have a deep respect for parents, and I desire to help make it easier on them, so they can focus on enjoying family time. I'm a certified elementary school teacher and was a substitute teacher for more than 4 years. I've also been a tutor, gymnastics coach, and done missions work with kids in Mexico, India, and Sri Lanka. I love creativity, I have a B. F. A. in painting, and right now I'm pursuing singing, songwriting, and worship leading! I've worked at MOPS for the last 5 years in the nursery, and am currently the Lead. I am certified in Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. I've worked as a nanny through the Care website a few times. I was also a nanny to my three nieces and one nephew, as infants and toddlers. Caring for babies and toddlers is something that is precious to my heart!

Trina cared for our 9mo old for about 3 months. She is a very professional, punctual, and patient person. Her credentials are outstanding. She's extremely sweet and soft spoken. She was great with reading, singing, and playing with our daughter. I would hire again for sure. - Might not be a great fit for strong-willed toddlers who need some firmness. - She prefers to work autonomously (just an FYI for work from home parents). Would hire again and recommend.

Nanny (Infant Specialist)

Avg response < 1 hrs
I have specialized in many years of taking care of newborns. Helping them develop in their environment and their growth to become independent children. Teaching plays an important role in my job as a nanny, not only do I make their new learning experience fun and entertaining, but I teach them how to play safely and to enjoy and appreciate time with family and friends. In total experience of 10 years, my primary concern for babies is their proper nutrition and wellbeing thoughout their development. I have been a Nurse Assistant, taken CPR courses, and become an Electro Cardiogram specialist. My last achievement was Phlebotomist Specialist. During my education and work experience I gained a wealth of knowledge to take care and fully develop children to be well rounded in different areas. My last job as a nanny took place in New Jersey. I worked for a family for 4 years. I started by taking care of one beautiful girl as a newborn and stayed around long enough to meet their other baby girl whom I also took care of. I relocated to live with my oldest daughter in Virginia, which was the reason for leaving that position. Other experience: I am a parent myself to two grown daughters; my oldest is 24 years old in the Navy and my second youngest 18 years old in College. I speak read and write Spanish. I can also teach your children another language if you are looking for them to be challenged in another language.
