I remember the frustration of knowing there is more to learn in the musical word and not being happy with the answers I was given on how to approach new concepts, especially dealing with jazz, improv, and writing. But like any language learning the basics well enough to know when you no longer need them is how you truly start to express yourself and find out who you are musically.
