I've been playing for about 16 years, and I'm entering my final year as a music student at Florida State University. I do my best to be a well-rounded musician: I study both classical and jazz music, and regularly explore free improvisation. Away from the keyboard, I do a lot of thinking about music theory and music cognition. I'm a J.S. Bach fanatic. As a teacher, I firmly believe that music should involve both reading/repetition and creating right from the start. In my lessons, you'll learn how music works as well as how to play it, and you bet you'll use your ears.
