Attended and completed the audio recording classes at Sierra College I also attended and completed the music business class at Sierra College Private Education: From the ages of 8-13 I had private piano lessons from two different instructors From ages 11-13 I had private guitar lessons From the ages of 12-18 I was in the percussion section at both the middle school and high school bands and I played various instruments. Performing Experience: I have played several piano recitals and played several school and church talent shows. I coordinated, setup the sound system, mixed, and performed in two separate bands for Lincoln's Clayfest in 2010. I am currently performing with my band Internal Decapitaion. We have been performing on the local circuit since January of 2011. We have played The Fire Escape in Citrus Heights several times, The Boardwalk in Orangevale several times, Digitalis Studios in Sacramento, and Vega's Nightclub in Sacramento. From November 2011-February 2012 I setup, mixed, engineered, and tore down an acoustic open mic show every week in Lincoln. I have also, recorded, engineered, mixed, edited, and converted several of my own recordings using a span of different programs. I am currently building a portfolio of my musical works. Experience Teaching: I have no formal teaching experience. However, I have taught my fiancee how to play guitar and I have shown my daughter how to play some scales on the piano. I have also shown my band members how to play all the songs I write. I have an open mind and am very patient with showing someone how to play something. I believe encouragement and a positive support system is the key to any student's success.

I took bass lessons from the ages of 12-16 at Skips music in Sacramento CA. In high school I played in various punk/pop-punk/rock bands local to the Sacramento area. One of these groups, Best Tomorrow, did very well and until the band went their separate ways we consistently sold out clubs such as the Boardwalk in Orangevale, CA and the Underground in Roseville, CA. After high school I attended the UC Santa Cruz for two years. In Santa Cruz I began Writing and Producing my own music using Logic and Pro-Tools. I took an online music production course through Berklee Music online and I decided I wanted to further persue an education in music. I was accepted to Berklee College of Music for the fall of 2008 and declared my major of Contemporary Writing and Production the first semester I was there. While in Boston I co-founded a Rock Band, Jaxon Boom. Jaxon Boom did very well in Boston and the greater North-East and our first Ep “On Probation,” which I Co-Produced with Josh Rosato and Jake Jackson, is now available for purchase on iTunes and many other digital distribution websites. I graduated Berklee College of Music Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production and I had the oppportunity to study with production professors Michael Farquharson, Jerry Gates, and Dave Howard. I also had the pleasure of studying Electric Bass with Joe Santerre for two and a half years. While at Berklee I also studied with Danny Morris, Dave Clark, Anthony Vitti, and Barry Smith. Currently I am pursuing Production and teaching opportunities in Northern California and working on an album of my own. * Formal Education: Berklee College of Music Graduate Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Writing and Production Magna Cum Laude Class of 2010 Private Education: Studied with: Joe Santerre, Danny Morris, Dave Clark, Anthony Vitti, Jimmy OShea, and Erik Kleven Performing Experience: I have 7 years of stage performance/gigging experience with live bands playing both original music and covers.
