I have a bachelor's degree in Music, with an emphasis in composition from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington. I love teaching students-whether 8 years or 80 years old, and I approach teaching with a can-do attitude-everyone can learn to play! I help develop student's understanding of both written music, and playing music by ear, so that they will truly get the best experience out of playing piano. Formal Education: Whitworth College-where I studied both Composition and Piano performance Performing Experience: I've performed several large concerts (75 or more people) where I played and sang original music, and I have done numerous piano performances for nursing homes, not to mention many open mics.
