My biggest strength is the ability to be truly interested in learning and teaching all different kinds of styles and being able to incorporate them into my own playing. I studied many different guitar styles, including classic and modern rock, blues, jazz, metal/shred, fusion, funk, RB, pop, country, and blues. I am most familiar with rock, blues, metal/shred, and funk. My own original music focuses on incorporating eclectic guitar styles into roots rock. I am currently teaching at a highly esteemed music school in Long Beach called Millan Music. I teach 2-3 days a week, ages ranging from 5-13. I am very skilled with teaching both children, young adults, and adults. I have about 8 years of solid live performance experience under my belt, playing both bars and restaurants mostly located in the beach cities of Southern California. I have also played some of LA's world-famous venues, including The Cat Club and the Knitting Factory. I also studied modern Music Business while in school and afterwards, and can give beginning musicians interested in a professional career in music solid critical advice on that subject. I make my living from playing music, have produced my own album, and manage my own career from top to bottom. I am very familiar with the struggles a professional independent musician faces today and am happy to steer anyone in need in the right direction.
